AJ (they/them) was born and raised in Upstate New York. They have a spiritual background that includes elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, Qabbala and Hermeticism, Judaism, past life regressions hypnosis, egyptology, and their own personal spiritual practice. AJ believes in the tarot as a spiritual tool for relationship-building and self-reflection, and their spiritual work is intrinsically tied to their commitment to the collective liberation of marginalized peoples. AJ is an experienced, sensitive, and discerning tarot reader and medium. In addition to offering 1:1 readings and teaching virtual tarot classes, they run a Youtube channel with Sagittarius-specific tarot readings.

They received their Bachelor’s degree from Bard College at Simon’s Rock in Great Barrington, MA, where they studied Social Action/Social Change and Creative Writing. They went on to facilitate workshops for racial justice, organize for social change and work in social sciences research in Western Massachusetts, New York City, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before returning to Upstate New York.

In addition to their work with spiritual healing, AJ has worked as an organizer, writer, editor, researcher, and tattoo artist, and they are currently writing a book manuscript on masculinity.
